Baked Tandoori Fish

A tasty, healthy dish with an Indian twist... Using our NEW (Slimming Friendly) Tandoori curry paste.

These pastes don't have any oils or added sugars, so feel free to use them no matter what diet you're on!

You can use this curry paste on its own as a base for a curry sauce, on its own as a marinade, or mix with Greek yoghurt to dilute the flavour a little - super versatile!

We make this recipe in the oven, but you can easily place this on some greaseproof paper or air fryer liners, pop it in the air fryer & cook accordingly (usually around 8-10 minutes depending on the size of the fillets)

Ingredients

  • 2 large white fish fillets (cod, haddock, basa...)

  • 1 tbsp tandoori curry paste

  • 1 lemon - thinly sliced

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 180C or 160C Fan

  2. Coat the fish fillets in the curry paste, if using frozen fish, ensure it is defrosted first.

  3. Marinate the fish for at least 2 hours for best results - this allows the flavour to infuse fully.

  4. Arrange the lemon slices on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper and place the marinated fish fillets on top.

  5. This stops the fish form sticking or breaking apart.

  6. Place the fish in the oven and bake for around 15-20 minutes (depending on the thickness of the fish)

  7. Serve alongside white rice & naan bread.
