1 rack pork ribs
50g bbq rib dry rub
olive oil or alternative
Method (BBQ)
Coat the ribs in a little olive oil or alternative and massage in the meat rub, ensuring that the meat is fully covered.
You can mix a little oil with the rub to brush on during cooking - this is not essential.
Wrap the ribs in foil and place over a medium heat charcoal drill for 1 hour, before removing the foil and allowing to cook for a further 10 minutes - this will give a nice charred effect to the meat.
Method (Oven)
Coat the ribs in a little olive oil or alternative and massage in the meat rub, ensuring that the meat is fully covered.
You can mix a little oil with the rub to brush on during cooking - this is not essential.
Place the ribs in a large roasting pan and cover with foil, cook for approximately 1 hour 15 minutes, basting every half hour if you choose to.
Remove the foil and cook uncovered on a high heat for another 10 minutes.
