Bombay Potatoes

Updated: Oct 5, 2023

A tasty side dish packed with flavour - pair it with our tandoori chicken or one of our tasty curry recipes!

This recipe can be made in the oven or the airfryer - or if you dont want to crisp up the potatoes, simply add the seasoning to cooked potatoes and serve.

Recipe

Ingredients

  • 500g potatoes (peeled optional)

  • OR

  • 1 Tin of potatoes

  • 20g Bombay Potato Spice

  • Oil or alternative

Method

  1. Chop the potatoes into chunks & boil until almost cooked through OR chop the tinned potatoes into chunks.

  2. In a bowl, add the potato chunks, sprinkle over the seasoning and a drizzle of oil or alternative, mix well till the potatoes are coated, add salt & pepper to taste.

  3. On a large baking tray, spread out the potato chunks, add to a heated oven and cook until the potatoes have crisped up (10-12 minutes) - we recommend shaking these around a few times during cooking.

  4. Alternatively, add the potato chunks to an airfryer for around 8 minutes, shaking up every few minutes to allow even crisping.

Finished Product

Pictured paired with our tandoori chicken, pilau rice, salad and yoghurt & mint crucials sauce.
