Breakfast Sausage Muffins

This takeaway favourite can now be enjoyed at any time of the day - following any diet plan!


Our sausage mixes are ideal for mixing with lower calorie mince to create a tasty alternative to your usual sausage patties.

These mixes can also be used with meat-free mince to make vegan patties!


We do have a gluten free range of sausage seasonings, but if there is one you don't see - let us know! We can make almost anything gluten free for you.


We used a muffin in this recipe, but you could use bread, a wrap, a bagel, a roll - anything!



Try swapping in your favourite cheese, adding sauces or even some smashed avocado & bacon to mix it up a bit.


Ingredients

  • 800g turkey mince - you can use pork!

  • 100g lincolnshire sausage complete mix

  • eggs

  • english muffins

  • cheese slices


Method

  1. In a large bowl, add the mince, sausage mix and 100ml water, mix well till combined.

  2. Weigh (50g) and shape into patties, by hand or using a press.

  3. Cook the patties as preferred - pan fry, grill or air fry - this can be done in advance.

  4. Toast the muffins, fry the eggs and assemble with the cooked patties and cheese.

  5. Wrap the filled muffin in tin foil and place in the oven or airfryer for 5 minutes, until the cheese has melted and the muffin is warmed.


These sausage patties can be made in advance and frozen, adjust cooking times if this is the case.

You can even freeze the assembled muffin and reheat in the airfryer for a quick & easy breakfast.
