Cajun Chicken Burgers

Our cajun seasoning is extremely versatile and can be used for almost anything.

Meat, vegetables, pasta dishes, soups, stews, seafood boil, gumbo, fries, jambalaya - there are SO many options.

But there's no doubt that a simple, quick chicken burger hits the spot every time!

We've used Cajun coated chicken thigh fillets, paired with salad, mozzarella cheese & a fresh roll - cooking these fillets in the airfryer gives the chicken a nice crisp, almost charred effect.

If you are looking to cut calories, try using chicken breast, lower calorie cheese or using a pitta or wrap.

Ingredients

  • 500g Chicken thigh fillets

  • 30g cajun seasoning

  • Mozzarella cheese slices

  • Baby spinach

  • Tomato - sliced

  • Fresh rolls

Method

  1. Add the chicken to a large bowl or container & sprinkle over the Cajun seasoning, mix well until the chicken is coated entirely.

  2. Cook the chicken in the airfryer at 200C for 10 minutes, flipping half way - ensuring the chicken is cooked through.

  3. Place the sliced cheese over the top of each chicken thigh and cook for a further 1 minute till melted, place this on the roll with the salad, and top with any sauce you like!
