Grilled Tofu Skewers

A delicious, easy way to kick off veganuary.

Using our teriyaki marinade, these skewers are so quick & easy to make, simply rub on the marinade & cook.

Paired with a tasty dipping sauce.

These are cooked on the grill, but you can cook them in the airfryer, in a pan or in the oven!


Ingredients

For the Skewers


For the dipping sauce

  • 2tbsp soy sauce

  • 1tbsp light brown sugar

  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar

  • 2cm ginger - peeled & grated

  • 1 garlic clove - minced

  • 1tsp toasted sesame oil

  • 1tsp chilli oil

  • 1 spring onion - finely sliced


Method

  1. Mix the teriyaki marinade with a splash of water, brush on to the tofu cubes until fully coated.

  2. Place the cubes on to skewers and grill for 2 minutes on each side.

  3. Combine all of the sauce ingredients in a pan and heat gently, stirring continuously until thickened.

  4. Serve the skewers alongside the sauce.

 

To cook in the air fryer, place the tofu cubes on skewers and cook them at around 180C for 6 minutes.
