Delicious homemade sausages wrapped in fluffy Yorkshire pudding.

Impress your family this winter by whipping up your own homemade sausages - in any flavour you like! Paired with our Yorkshire pudding batter mix, top with gravy & onions for a traditional dish or add a spicy twist - the options are endless!

This recipe uses our golden pork sausage complete mix - but you can use shop bought sausages if you like! Just skip to part 2 of the recipe if you aren't making your own.

Our sausage mixes are completely vegan and can be made using meat free mince - our Yorkshire pudding mix is also vegan.

Ingredients

Method

(Part 1 - Video Tutorial at bottom of page)

  1. Add the minced meat & sausage mix to a large bowl and combine, add 100ml cold water and mix thoroughly, the mix should be well binded.

  2. Fill the sausage meat into casings using a sausage stuffer - use a little oil on your hands to make this easier.

(Part 2)

  1. Preheat the oven to 220C / 200C Fan / Gas 7.

  2. Add the sausages (whether home made or store bought) to a large roasting tin with 1tbsp oil and cook for 15 minutes until browned.

  3. In a large bowl, add the batter mix and eggs, while whisking, slowly add the water until a loose batter is formed, set aside until the sausages are ready.

  4. Remove the tin from the oven, the oil/fat should be piping hot, shake the sausages to ensure none are stuck to the bottom.

  5. Pour in the batter and return to the oven, cook for 25-30 minutes or until risen and golden brown.

  6. Serve with gravy, onions & your favourite veg.
